Globe Squires Branding Rights For Circuit Makati
Globe Telecom Inc. has acquired naming and branding rights with its multimillion-peso deal with Circuit Makati, the latest development of Ayala Land Inc. that will convert the former Sta. Ana Race Track into a complete lifestyle and entertainment venue.
"We are excited with this new partnership deal with Ayala Land as evidenced in our investment and trust with the property development. We see a huge potential and very bright future for Circuit Makati as a dynamic and interactive hub that will provide Filipinos another world-class entertainment experience," said Ernest Cu, president and chief executive officer of Globe.
With an investment of P30 million over three years, Globe secured exclusive naming rights in the Circuit Events Ground, one of the three distinct entertainment venues aimed at attracting families and urbanites to further enjoy the country's premier business district.
Dubbed as Globe Circuit Events Ground, the outdoor theater will feature a 2,000-square meter canopy area, which can house up to 1,000 people. It aims to be the preferred entertainment venue in the metro, hosting numerous outdoor events and activities such as concerts, dance and theatre performances, street plays, festivals, fashion shows, exhibits as well as outdoor sporting events such as football.
A particular highlight of Circuit's grand launch this year will be the unveiling of the first phase of the development: a two-hectare open grounds area that can accommodate up to 20,000 people in a single event.
Besides the Globe Circuit Events Ground, the other entertainment venues are the Circuit Theatre, a 1,500-seater performing arts venue that will showcase the Filipino's world-class talent and feature "Broadway-type" of entertainment, and the Circuit Lane which will feature an interactive walk with a multi-purpose black box for more intimate shows, recitals, workshops and even parties. As ALI's latest district, Circuit Makati is a 21-hectare mixed-use development.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a Cultural Center of the Philippines in Makati?
