Solstice Tower at Circuit Makati A benchmark for innovation soon to rise

Solstice Tower

A benchmark for innovation soon to rise

IN astronomy, the word "solstice" pertains to a period when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky. It can also mean a sense of being above everything else.

Either way, the Solstice Tower is worthy of its name as it promises its future residents a way of living that embraces the familiar comforts of home high above the pulsating interests of the urban landscape. This new project will offer multi-faceted, fun living right in the heart of the modern-day neighborhood of Circuit Makati, which is Makati's up-and-coming lifestyle playground.

Developed by upscale residential community developer Alveo Land, the rising vertical village recently had its groundbreaking ceremony, signifying the official start of construction on the first of two planned Solstice condo towers, which will rise to 41 stories with roof decks.

The event was attended by Alveo Land executives represented by the company's President Robert Lao, along with officials from its development partner Philippine Racing Club Inc. (PRCI), the proprietors of the Santa Ana Racetrack which was formerly located in the now developed lifestyle hub.  PRCI was represented by Chairman Emeritus Santiago Cua and President Simeon Cua.

Also present at the event were Gilbert Berba, innovation and design group head of Alveo Land; Eunice Acejo, marketing group head of Alveo Land; Rufino Gutierrez, Alveo Land head of sales; Jennylle Tupaz, project development group head of Alveo Land; Kiko Francisco, construction management director for Alveo Land; Santiago Cua Jr., chairman of PRCI; Robert Lao, president of Alveo Land; Santiago Cua, chairman emeritus of PRCI; Santiago Cualoping III, senior vice president and chief finance officer of PRCI; Simeon Cua, president and CEO of PRCI; Ramon Ereñeta Jr., treasurer of PRCI; Gary Lauriano, president of GVI (IT service provider of PRCI); Allan Abesamis, EVP and COO of PRCI.

The Solstice Tower 1 will feature the Sunrise Villas—two- and three-bedroom flats ranging from 103 to 109 sq m in area. The Garden Flats,  which are located on the eighth floor, will have one-, two-  and three-bedroom units, while the Executive Floors on the 53rd story will have bedroom units as large as 226 sq m. A total of 461 units (32 residential floors) with 405 parking slots with an 88-percent parking ratio will be built along with retail stores on the ground and second floors, as well as amenities on the eighth floor (shared with Tower 2). The turnover of Solstice Towers is targeted for the third quarter of 2018.

The Solstice is further proof that Alveo Land Corp., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ayala Land, is a benchmark of innovation in Philippine real estate today.
